Certified Builder Graduate

The daughter of a contractor, Christine Fortenberry learned about the building industry at an early age. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech in 1971, she founded Fortenberry Construction, a company that has built more than 400 custom homes in Cobb County. Her skills, experience, and reputation for integrity and professionalism have earned her local, regional, and national recognition in a male-dominated industry. She is a Certified Professional Home Builder and one of only 43 builders in Georgia who is a Certified Graduate Builder, a certification program of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

2004 Education Partner of the Year

In October 2004, Fortenberry Construction, Inc. was awarded the “Outstanding Partner in Education” award in Cobb County along with eight other companies for outstanding commitment to education in our county.
